Most of people have problem with there alterIWnet version didn't detects by Xfire so here is the solution for it open your xfiregame.ini for XP it is located in program files/Xfire folder but for Vista and Win 7 it is located in Hidden folder Program Data/Xfire Open it with Notepad and Find call of duty modern warfare 2 Multiplayer when you find it just edit iw4mp.exe to iw4mp.dat and save it now restart your Xfire and start game this time it will detects.
