Patching Instructions
Download the program from Mediafire (see link at the bottom of the post).
Choose your operating system - there's not a lot of difference as to what it does, but the preset directories for the files that need to be patched are different depending on this.
Select the directories that need to be patched - as it suggests, you need to select the installation directory for Xfire if you use Windows XP, and the ProgramData directory for Windows Vista and 7. Unless you've changed your primary partition's assigned letter, it's unlikely that you'll have to change these.
On the other hand, you will need to find your MW2 installation directory - given the wide variety of locations this folder can be found in. This is the same folder that contains your iw4mp.exe file.
If you successfully patch the program, you'll see this message. All you have to do afterward is get Xfire to look for new games - no need for a system or even a program restart.
Hopefully this is useful to someone - if you find any bugs, post them and I'll take a look. Thanks to Gh0st and itr for helping me test this on Vista and Win 7. :-)
